Summer is around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited! Graduations look different now, so I wanted to be sure to make graduation extra special because a great gift makes all the difference! It is our first summer break in a new state and we are ready with a long list of things we want to check off our bucket list! using my Cricut Joy I will be making a summer bucket list, gift basket and card for my graduate!

f you have not yet heard of the Cricut Joy; it is a smart cutting and writing machine! You can make just about anything with it and it’s super easy to set up. It weighs approximately 3.9 lbs and cuts over 50 different materials! If that isn’t amazing enough, Cricut has a design space with tons of images and ready to make projects that you can use! For today’s projects, all images and designs are from Cricut Access in the design space! I love this because it makes making projects and crafts so easy and barely any prep. All you need is materials.
Tools used for this project
( Some of these items are hyperlinked to help you find the exact items online)
- Project Board
- Cricut Joy
- Starter Tools Set
- Crate or Basket
- Smart Vinyl
For the Summer Bucket List, I made a list of things my daughter loves most: Making popsicles, dressing up, building a fort. I then added many other super fun things like a trip to Disney, making a birdhouse and having a picnic! The images I chose for the bucket list were all from Cricut Access! So all I had to do was find the images I wanted and click make. I went with a sun, sunglasses and starts for each thing on our list. The vinyl I used was the smart vinyl for the Cricut Joy Machine! I did not even need to use a mat because the smart material allows auto load with the special backing it comes on.

For the graduation card, I was so amazed at how easy it was to make! The special mat for cards has a mat that protects the back of your card while it cuts on the front of the card. Again, I chose the design from the Cricut access and all I had to do was choose what color card and insert I wanted! This card was for the gift basket!
