We recently moved into our new home from a 2 bedroom apartment. I was dying to get out of there and have space on my own walls for aesthetically pleasing decor! Letter boards are all the craze and I can’t even be mad! The only things I can say I am mad about is HOW EXPENSIVE letter boards are. I mean like seriously, for a giant letter board set everywhere I looked was over $200 and I complained about it to my husband and he said we can easily make that, so that is what we did. I was so amazed at how easy this was and affordable! The most expensive thing was the letters! But here is how you can easily achieve your own Easy DIY Giant Letter Board!

Supplies
- 1 roll of Double sided mounting tape
- 4″ Sign Letters
- Furring strips (Hardware store)
- Sand paper
- Level
So for the furring strips the length that best suits your wall space. I am creating this letter board in my office, so I went with 3 30″ furring strips. They come as one long 8ft strip, but one of the workers will happily cut it for you! You can also stain the furring strip if you’d like, but I went with the exposed natural wood feel!

Step 1: Smooth down the ends on with a sheet of sand paper.
Step 2: Attach double sided mounting tape to the side furring strip you want to be the back
Step 3: Figure out where on your wall you will be placing your letter board and peel off the back of the mounting tape and stick on the wall! Use your level to make sure it’s not crooked and aligned properly!
Now let’s talk pricing. The mounting tape was $6, The Sand paper was $2, The Furring strip was $1.14 and the most expensive thing was the sign letters at $54
