So this year has been a really big year for hats. I’ve literally never owned a cool hat until this year because it’s the thing! From dad hats to big stylish hats, but like where do you put them all? I had them all piled up on the top corner of my closet and they’d always fall over, so I had to find a better solution.
I am super into minimal decor, but for some reason the minimal decor cost so much more money then I care to spend. That’s where this DIY came in! Hat organizer and something to fill my wall up, DIY hanging hat wall! Most of the time I hop on Pinterest and get super overwhelmed with all the details on DIYs so I like to keep things super simple. I found these all over but super complicated with copper and a screws. That was not gonna work for me! So I simply made my my own Hat Hanging Hat Wall
Here’s what you need:
- Wooden dowel
- Cotton rope
- Hot glue gun
- Scissors
- Clothes pins
When I say easy, I mean EASY. All you’re gonna do is measure some rope to the length you desire. Loop it around once and pull through to secure the rope! You’re going to do that 3 times to have 3 different hanging ropes to hang you’re hats.
Next you’re going to cut a string to serve has the “hanger”. I tied a normal knot around the the dowel on both ends, but first I secured it with the hot glue gun! I also used the glue gun to hide and glue the ugly ends I cut! Lastly, pick a spot and hang your hats with your clothes pins. (Insert happy dance here). If you try this out let me know, I would love to see how yours comes out of if you added your own twist to it!

I need something like this for the boys room. This is minimal and wonderful for cute cute hats!
