One of our favorite things to do together as a family, is find a good series we can enjoy together. There is nothing like bonding over a favorite show and the excitement for new episodes! The Ghost & Molly McGee is currently that show for us! Kali and I got to screen a new episode that is airing on November 6th and we also got to talk to the voices of the two main characters!
So what is The Ghost & Molly McGee about? Great question! This show is about an unexpected friendship by Molly, voiced by Ashley Burch and Scratch, voiced by Dana Snyder! What makes this friendship unexpected? Scratch is a grumpy ol’ ghost who is super sarcastic and Molly is an overly optimistic kind tween. We’ve watched this whole series in laughs and absolutely love it. You can catch this series on Disney Channel and the new episode on Nov 6th!
we got to attend a Q&A with Ashely Burch & Dana Snyder and wow, what amazing people! We learned so much that made us love the show even more getting to know these 2! One of the questions asked to Ashley Burch was what they wanted the viewers to take away from the show, Ashley’s answer was amazing, “You never know where you will make new friends” This is such a great piece of advice as in the show Molly and Scratch make the most unlikely and unexpected friendship and it’s so cute! As we watched the series we noticed what a great fit these 2 were and the life lesson, is you really never know who and where you’ll make a new friend in! I love show like this because they are so relatable!
After our Q&A we got to have a little art class with Karl Cruz where we learned how to draw scratch! This was the first time every doing something like this and it was so much fun! Who knew I was an artist!! Overall, if you haven’t yet watched The Ghost & Molly McGee we 100% recommend adding this to your watchlist. Not only is is super funny, but its refreshing to see a show with a positive and optimistic little girl!
