It is hard to believe that in just a short couple of weeks, my little munchkin will be attending school for the first time EVER. This summer really has flown by. I don’t know if it’s because i’m trying to hold on to our last days at home together everyday or because Kindergarten is knocking at our door, but either way it’s real! Shopping with Kali is always easy because she loves clothes. Anything with glitter, colors and shine, she’s all over. It wasn’t until this shopping trip that I noticed how much she really loved clothes. She’s such a little fashionista. This past week we went to OshKosh B’gosh to get the school shopping started and complete! As soon as we opened that door, she started to point out everything she loved. After filling our basket we turned the fitting room into her own little runway!

Aside from having fun bonding over shopping (yay!). I took this time to show my little one that confidence is not how you look, but how you FEEL. Through out the store I pointed out the signs and read them to her. The one that resonated most to me was ” be kind, be curious, be confident, be YOU” and i love it. A reminder to be kind. Curiosity to spark interest in learning. Confidence to keep those little hearts and minds full and BE YOU to embrace herself just as she is. Every child is different and I always tell her that that’s ok, it’s ok for Kali to want to do things that only Kali wants to do, eat things that only Kali wants to eat and I try to show her that she is her OWN person. & who is she? Kind, Curious & Confident Kali.

OshKosh is my favorite line o kids’ clothing. I used tot dress my kids in it all the time when they were little.

Osh Kosh is one of the best lines of kids clothing. Quality-wise, it is perfect! I ahve this jumper when I was 5 years old and my little girl wears it.
