Civilization, civilization where are you? I honestly cannot even tell you what week we are on. If you’re a mama self care regularly prior to quarantine was probably rare, which means now it’s probably non-existent. There’s seems to be no time since 1- we cant leave our homes and 2- were stuck with our littles all day everyday, but we all need some self care. Now that were forced to stay home I put together a list of 4 Ways To Practice Self Care During Quarantine that will help keep you sane!
Self care seems nearly impossible these days because most people think this have to spend money and leave their home to do it. TRUTH? You can do these things at home for the free.
Bath
There is no better way to relax for me than a nice warm bath alone. Especially after a rough day with my little. Light a candle, drop some bath salts or a bath bomb and pour yourself maybe a glass of wine or 2!
Mood Board
Being stuck at home all the time puts me in a funk where I find no inspiration at all. I actually loose motivation, so I recently started making mood/vision boards on Pinterest! These boards have been helping me stay motived when I feel I am losing it. If you’d like to come pin with me you can here. This is probably my favorite ways to practice self care.

Podcast
So huz and I just launched out own podcast (you can find it here.). Aside from launching our own I have recently found my self divining into other podcast. I don’t always have the time to sit there and read something or watch so I find podcast to be so helpful because I can turn it on in the background while doing almost anything, but i’m starting to find better ME times to turn one on. While working out, while following my morning/night skin routine or while in my baths mentioned above!
Social Media Detox
Ugh. So I know everyone talks about taking a break (that usually only last a day or two) but those little breaks off of social media actually help. Since social media is such a big part of my job, this one is tough I am not going to lie. It honestly doest not have to be a long one. You can start with significant times of the day like when you first wake up or just a time where you should be paying attention to your littles, but the tea is too good lol!
