Winter break is over and kids are back in school. Fun? No!! Flu season is upon us and honestly, I am terrified about it. There are many things you can do to keep your kids as healthy as possible during this ruthless flu season. Here are 4 Tips To Keep Your Kids Healthy During Cold and Flu season.

- Teach your child about viruses/bacteria– It’s really hard to teach kids about germs and stuff when they are little and it’s hard to keep them out of the way of the flu because kids are germ magnets, but talking to them about it definitely helps!
- Wash Hands Frequently– We are all exposed to bacteria daily, but like I said above out kids are germ magnets! Making sure they wash their hands before eating, when they come back inside from outside and after the bathroom.
- Use Hand Sanitizer– If they are not able to wash their hands all that time (maybe they are at school), Hand sanitizer is a great alternative to washing hands. Our favorite hand sanitizer but TouchLand does not dry out their little hands.

By using a tissue or their elbow it makes all the difference from spreading germs to other kids and catching things from other kids.

Although all of these seem super obvious, it’s easy for little mind to forget them! The more we practice them and repeat them the more they will learn! I don’t know about you, but when I volunteer at my daughters school I see so many kids who do not do all of the above and its super scary. The new flu season is worse then ever so let’s keep our kids healthy this cold and flu season!
